Edwardian Lodge House
This prestigious project involved the complete Refurbishment of a substantial Edwardian Lodge House in the New Forest and a new Extension to provide a Family Kitchen and Dining area. The extension was constructed with matching face brick elevations and clay plain roof tiling over a traditional cut roof incorporating Oak Trusses and Beams.
The existing property was totally renovated, including re-roofing, new leadworks, chimney lining and repointing, re-configuring of Attic and Roof profile, all windows and doors replaced with bespoke matching joinery, formation of new Bathrooms and new drainage.
The whole property received a new Mechanical & Electrical installation incorporating a ground source heat pump, solar hot water heating, recycled rainwater harvesting and a back up generator to safeguard continuity of services in this remote location.
